Safety Measures COVID 19

Posted in News on 9th March 2020

The safety of our guests and employees are of paramount importance to us. At The elbowroom escape, we are doing everything that we can to ensure that our guests have a safe and pleasant stay. As we are a remote and small venue, without a large amount of the public accessing we feel these measures will help support your enjoyment of your event.

The following have been implemented as of March 3rd 2020

Our staff have been briefed on the guidelines provided by the local health authorities. We ask, that if anyone in your group feels unwell, that they remain at home.

Additional measures include staff briefings to reinforce the rules and practices of good personal hygiene, provision gloves for staff, as well as hand sanitisers that are placed at guest contact areas. Special attention has also been placed to sanitise public contact points such as light switches, bathroom taps and flushers, door handles, counters and table surfaces. The cleaning of guest rooms has also been stepped up to include all contact areas. Our kitchen is equipt with a sanitising dishwasher, so all our ware and cutlery will pass through this prior to your arrival.

For those using the yoga room, we will sanitise all props before your visit.

Pre-event meetings are conducted to review the situation; we are in constant communication with staff and guests to keep them updated and to advise them on appropriate measures to take.

We remain vigilant and will work closely with the authorities for the health and safety of all stakeholders. We are omitting our welcome handshake and departure hug at this time and will give you a nice friendly wave instead.

Thank you for choosing The elbowroom escape and we look forward to welcoming you wherever you stay with us.
