Sovereign Woman is an opportunity to really retreat, to step away from the strive drive and for three nourishing days drop softly and draw deeply from our wisdom. This we will do through the practices of yoga, movement, meditation, inquiry, ritual, developmental coaching, Celtic wisdom, nourishing food and hibernation!
Samhain marks the gateway to the deep feminine part of the year. It’s the time of the Caileach, the Goddess in the form of the hag in the Celtic wisdom tradition who lovingly but undoubtedly demands that we transform our limitations into potential. It;s the perfect time for women to come together to grow and change the narrative.
This year Sovereign Woman will explore our relationship as women to POWER. Over these three days we will get clear on what it would mean to be living fully in your power and explore what’s getting in the way of that.

Benefits
Testimonials from past events with Mari Kennedy
What I continue to find so inspiring about Mari is her deeply grounded appreciation of a myriad practices – yoga, celtic wisdom, body-mind centering and the expressive arts – practices she cleverly intertwines to guide students to realise the truth of who they really are and to help them live life to its fullest. To quote neuropsychologist Rick Hanson, “to feel more joy you need to experience more joy” and in essence this is what Mari strives to achieve. Kate O’Brien http://midlifeedit.com/
What can I say only…Mari Kennedy knows her stuff!
She’s normal…not airy fairy…and because of this I felt like I could connect to her more. Her information on the Celtic Calendar was beautiful, made so much sense and it helped me be a bit more understanding of where I was at this moment in my life. Her yoga is fantastic. Downward dog has never been the same again!! Mari is a fantastic confidant who doesn’t need say alot for you to know she gets you. She has helped provide me with tools to go find my get up and go. Deborah Kelly
“Mari Kennedy’s retreat was awesome. I was out of practice and never a serious yoga practitioner, but the classes were cleverly designed to be challenging but doable for all ability levels. I had been worried I would be out of my depth with four hours of yoga a day, as my fitness levels are only mediocre. Some people there were novices like me, others were lifetime practitioners. One and all they loved the classes and the four days.”
Just wanted to say a big thanks Mari for an amazing retreat in the Cliffs of Moher. The location was stunning and the yoga studio enabled us to soak it all in including a lovely walk along the cliffs on one of the mornings. From the moment we arrived at the retreat, we were immersed in a journey of yoga and mindfulness which flowed beautifully throughout the weekend. What made the weekend extra special was the Bealtaine theme throughout our yoga practice which brought us all on a personal journey. I have to say my expectations for the weekend were exceeded and I left feeling a lot lighter and stronger ( Louisa)
” Mari is a gift and gifted, if ever there was an individual who has found her life’s purpose, it is Mari.
She has a natural, gentle and light-hearted way of getting individuals to open up not just physically in various yoga poses but emotionally and spiritually as well. I attended my first ever Yoga retreat, which Mari facilitated and highly recommend it for those of you who want to switch off, relax, recharge, stretch, unwind and learn… I enjoyed every minute and felt safe and supported at all times. I will definitely attend another of Mari’s Yoga retreats in the future. Thanks Mari, I am forever grateful… Catherine (Kinvara)”
