This retreat features yoga, pilates, hiking, healthy, detoxifying food, a dose of adventure, and some well-deserved pampering in the beautiful Irish countryside.
Just an hour outside of Dublin, you’ll be staying at a new and beautiful retreat centre nestled in the historical and charming Wicklow Mountains.
Suitable for all fitness and yoga levels, expect to challenge your body, slow down your mind, have (many!) laughs, immerse yourself in Irish culture and recharge your batteries!
Class Descriptions:
Vinyasa Flow Yoga:
The vinyasa flow style yoga taught by Kathy, has strong flows and creative sequences of poses designed to encourage students to connect their body and mind through strengthening, lengthening and opening. The classes are set to inspiring music and incorporate an aromatherapy savasana massage. These classes will challenge each student to go beyond where they have been before, in a safe, authentic environment that encourages questions, smiles and laughter!
The classes are suitable for all levels of yogi’s.
Mindful Yin & Restorative Yoga:
This class is a mix of yin and restorative poses coupled with candlelight and aromatherapy. Yin Yoga is a series of deep stretches that target the deeper fascia of the spine & pelvis allowing for improved flexibility of soft tissues, mobility and the release of stress in the body & mind. Mindfulness meditation will be weaved throughout this practice. Expect a soothing soundtrack and an aromatherapy savasana massage.
Pilates:
Louise combines yoga movements with Pilates, which is a form of body conditioning that focuses on developing a strong core by using the deep abdominal muscles to control movement and postures.
Louise works with students to balance all muscle group’s strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Louises mat class is a challenging yet safe method increased agility in your every day movements.
With the focus on core strength and flexibility, building on your understanding of how and when to engage the muscles properly Louise will give you a challenging workout, some new exercises and techniques, with the focus of yoga in the background.
Sun Salutation Workshop:
Have you ever wondered if you’re doing Chaturanga the right way? Are you interested in flowing through your poses more fluidly? Whether you’re new to yoga or you’ve been on the mat for years, breaking down the poses can deepen your practice and improve your experience.
This 60-minute workshop will review the Sun Salutation sequence –traditionally called Surya Namaskar—tying together breath and movement.
While it can be tempting to zoom through each pose and get your heart rate pumping, you risk injury over the long term, and it’s much less effective. This workshop will break down poses like Downward Facing Dog, Upward Facing Dog, and Chaturanga. This is optional, but offered to all retreat guests.

Kathy Parsons, Toronto, Canada
For more than a decade, certified Yoga teacher (RYT-200), Kathy, has been on dozens of health retreats around the world. She professes herself as a "retreat addict" (and a type-A in recovery) and is now dedicated to providing the ultimate energizing and balanced yoga, fitness and retreat experience for others.
Her specialty is vinyasa flow, and her classes incorporate creative movements that strengthen and lengthen the body while staying connected to the breath. She also teaches moving meditation, yin yoga and mindfulness. Classes are tailored to the students with as much personalized attention as possible, including gentle hands-on adjustments and assists, inspirational music and a scented savasana massage.

Kathy’s home base is in Toronto, and when she is not leading retreats in Cuba and around the world, she is running workshops and teaching yoga and meditation through her business The Santosha Life.
Louise Lynn

Louise Lynn, Dublin, Ireland
If you spend any time in Louise’s company, you will quickly discover that her two passions in life are pilates and horses.
Born and raised in the midlands of Ireland, Louise has called Dublin her home for many years. An accomplished and award-winning show jumper, she has a range of qualifications in yoga, pilates and fitness as well as almost 10 years of teaching experience in the UK and Ireland.
Her training in this area goes back almost a decade, beginning with fitness instruction and progressing to pilates (mat work and reformer; pre/postnatal) and Hatha Yoga Therapy which she has been teaching for the past five years.
She has a special interest in back care and rehabilitation. Her classes blend the principles of yoga with Pilates and focus on correct technique and muscle recruitment. Expect to get the down and deep with the anatomical fundamentals of your practice with some light humour thrown in for good measure.
STOTT certified in Advanced, Essential & Intermediate Mat Work, Essential & Intermediate Reformer, Prenatal Pilates, Postnatal Pilates and Pilates on the Mat for Golf.
