This October mid-term, The Wicklow Escape invites families to a magical break filled with woodland adventures, cosy downtime, and plenty of treats (no tricks!).
By day, kids will head off to Forest School with the brilliant team at Tree Ring Forest. They’ll explore the deep, dark woods, learn bushcraft skills like fire making and shelter building, enjoy outdoor games, crafts, and maybe even swap a ghost story or two around the campfire. It’s hands-on fun that builds confidence, sparks imagination, and connects them with nature.
Meanwhile, parents get the gift of time. Join a guided hike, or simply sink into the peace of the hills with nothing on the agenda but rest. When evening falls, why not slip into the hot tub beneath starry skies for a little extra magic?
As night draws in, families gather around the table for wholesome feasts, sharing stories of their day before drifting off to a restful sleep in our cosy mountain lodge.
This Halloween, swap screens and city streets for forest trails, firesides, and family time in the heart of Wicklow. A truly spooktacular mid-term escape awaits.

- Daily Forest School with Family, pizza making included
What's Included
- 2 nights stay in family rooms
- 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches / packed lunches for the kids and 2 evening meals – All food is wholesome vegetarian cooking.
- Forest camp from 10:30am – 2:30pm for 3 days (for children 5 and older), 3rd day both adults and children attending as it is a family day at the forest school.
