Ease into Summer with Karen and Marion

Escape from the stresses of everyday life and join us at the cusp of Summer for a magical yin and yang yoga experience in the beautiful Glen of Immal, County Wicklow.

This weekend is designed to restore you to balance. We will mix a gentle meditative yin practice with a stronger slowly flowing vinyasa (yang) practice. Perfect for anyone who wants to de-stress, unwind and escape for the weekend, from absolute beginners to experienced yogis, all are welcome.

Throughout the classes we will use therapeutic grade essential oils, carefully chosen to enhance your experience.

The retreat is held in the gorgeous Wicklow wilderness. In between yoga and meditation classes there will be time out to hike in the forests and hills, to chill with a good book, or to soak in the hot tub, enjoying the peace and tranquility with no worries.

Expect to leave rebalanced, relaxed and re-energised.

Team

Karen Davies

Karen discovered a love for yoga whilst still working full-time as a software engineer. The love for yoga won out, and she left her 15 year career to teach yoga full time in 2015. Honestly the best decision ever made. She is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher, and is also qualified to teach yin and pilates.

She believes that yoga is for everyone, no matter what age or fitness, and encourages acceptance of where you are rather than focusing on goals. Her classes are strong and challenging, but with an element of light-heartedness and fun, helping students to increase their confidence, discover their potential and most importantly to be happy and healthy.

Marion Buechner

Marion is a 500h RYT certified yoga teacher and is also qualified in teaching yin yoga and meditation. She has been teaching yoga since 2014. Her classes are challenging and dynamic, but yet mindful with the focus on breath and body mind connection.

Coming from a fitness and running background Marion started yoga from a mere physical point of view. Yoga taught her how to step back and to slow down, becoming aware and accept what the body really needs. It is amazing how much one can grow, learn and develop a deeper sense of gratitude just by having a consistent yoga practice.

Yoga is for everyone. Providing an open, trusted and safe space for everyone to feel comfortable and being able to connect to themselves is essential to Marion.

Marion continues her study by attending various classes, workshops, trainings and being a student to this infinite topic of yoga. She is forever grateful to all her teachers who gave her the right tools to go deeper into her own practice and teachings.
