Celebrate your team’s hard work with a festive gathering in nature – exclusively yours – no other people, no having to share your space: just exceptional food, roaring fires, and meaningful connection in a private woodland setting.
On arrival, your guests will be greeted by our dedicated events team and welcomed into your exclusive reception room, where the scent of winter spices and the sound of seasonal music set the festive mood. A warm glass of mulled wine awaits to start the celebration.
You’ll then gather around the chef’s long table for a three-course tasting menu created by our in-house chef, showcasing the best of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared and with a selection of fine wines for a truly indulgent dining experience.
The setting is elegant and festive – oak tables, forest foraged centrepieces, and classic Christmas fare to complete the table. Whether it’s an afternoon celebration or an overnight escape, The Wicklow Escape offers a refined and memorable alternative to the traditional Christmas party – all just one hour from Dublin.

- Wreaths & Whiskey Workshop – A cosy and luxurious wreath-making session using wild winter foliage foraged on-site – think pine, holly, dried citrus, and berries. Teams craft their own wreaths while sipping on local whiskeys or festive cocktails by the fire.
- Winter Woodland Cocktail Trail A festive twist on a tasting walk through the forested grounds. Teams follow a lantern-lit trail, sampling seasonal cocktails or local artisan drinks at styled outdoor stations.
- Fireside Storytelling & Mulled Wine Gather around the outdoor fire pit under the stars for professional storytelling, live acoustic music, or a fun “tales from the office” themed sharing session – with spiced mulled wine and cosy blankets.
- Feast & Forage Experience Led by a local expert, groups forage for winter herbs and wild ingredients, which are incorporated into a chef-prepared festive feast. Great for team bonding and hands-on engagement.
- Christmas Cook-Off Challenge Teams compete in a friendly culinary contest: think mince pie decorating, gingerbread house building, or canapés with a twist – all judged by The Wicklow Escape’s head chef.
- Secret Santa Gift Hunt A custom treasure hunt across the property where clues lead participants to hidden Secret Santa gifts – perfect for adding mystery and movement to gift-giving.
- Reflect & Reset Ritual A guided reflection session with journaling, intention setting, and aromatherapy to close out the year. Ideal for leadership teams or reflective company cultures.
- S’mores & Storycraft: Fireside Creativity Night Teams gather under the stars around crackling fire pits to toast gourmet s’mores — think handmade marshmallows, flavoured chocolates, and spiced biscuits. While snacking, they collaborate on a fun “storycraft” challenge: creating and performing a festive tale, poem, or skit using a set of surprise prompts (holiday-themed, office inside jokes, or Wicklow lore).
